Our
team has expertise in survey methodology, and more specifically,
online surveys. Here are some examples of surveys we have done in
the past.
2004-
2005 Telenursing Role Study
Part of the
Nursing Telehealth Applications Initiative (a program created to
address the world-wide nursing shortage) was the 2004-2005 International
Role Study, in which telenurses from around the world were surveyed
in order to assess the current state of telenursing along with international
aspects of telenursing preparation and practice. The web-based survey
was answered by 719 nurses in 36 countries who work with telehealth
technologies. The survey responses helped researchers to identify
the characteristics of telenurses, satisfaction with current roles,
information related to knowledge and skills, opinions on education
in telehealth, and perceptions of the impact of telenursing. A unique
survey, the results paint a picture of the profession as a whole.
Furthermore, the results of this global survey were used to create
the ICN's International Competencies for Telenursing.

Support for MHS Learn
In this project,
iTelehealth developed and implemented an online survey in order
to collect performance and user feedback for the Department of Veterans
Affairs (VA) Department of Defense (DoD) eLearning systems.
UNISYS
MEHR
iTeleHealth
partnered with UNISYS, a worldwide information technology consulting
services and solutions company, and the Department of Defense (DoD),
to research mobile electronic health records (MEHR) within DoD.
Part of the research included conducting online surveys to determine
users' opinions of specific technologies and mobile devices. Users
tested devices and gave opinions of the usefulness in healthcare
settings.

EA HIT
In this initiative, iTelehealth partnered with MDM Strategies to develop the Economic Analysis of Healthcare Information Technology in the Ambulatory Setting (EA HIT) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The EA HIT project was designed to create a computational economic model and simulation tool that would serve to predict small physician practice adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHR) over ten years. iTelehealth created, field tested, and vetted six separate surveys that were sent out to small practice physicians around the country.
