The Preventing Suicide Network (PSN) was created in Fall 2001 by iTeleHealth, Inc, with funding from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The mission of this national suicide prevention website is to leverage the power of technology to assist persons in informing themselves and others regarding preventing suicide, with the hope that someone's life may be spared this tragic event by a helper reaching out. The network offers suicide education, prevention, detection, and treatment resources for professionals as well as community members.
